Train times changed for two weeks on Kurunegala line


Schedules of some trains have been altered due to repairs on the tracks between Pothuhera and Kurunegala from December 02 to December 15, say Sri Lanka Railways.
The train leaving Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura at 10.40 am will leave at 12.00 noon.
The train leaving Anuradhapura to Colombo Fort at 8.40 am will leave at 11.40 am.The train leaving Colombo Fort to Trincomalee-Batticaloa will leave Fort at 6.00 am and the train leaving Trincomalee and Batticaloa to Colombo Fort will leave at 9.00 am from trinco and 7.20 am from Batticaloa

NISHANTHA MUTHUHETTIGAMA ARRESTED

Nishantha Muthuhettigama has been arrested by a special police team in Yakkalamulla, Galle moments ago, Senior DIG Southern Province Kingsley Ekanayaka told Ada Derana. Ekanayaka told Ada Derana earlier that a special police team was deployed to arrest SPC member Nishantha Muthuhettigama over an arrest warrant. The arrest warrant is regarding the incident where he allegedly threatened the Galle District Secretary.
