Special bus service for T/20 fans

A special bus service will be available for spectators of the Twenty 20 match played between Sri Lankaand Pakistantomorrow at the R. Premadasa Stadium.

The special bus service will begin 20 minutes after the awards presentation, from Maligakanda, opposite Sathosa. The buses will ply along the Galle Road, Kandy Road, Negombo Road, High Level Road, Fort and Malabe routes.

The match is scheduled to begin at the R. Premadasa Stadiium at 07.00 pm and spectators are requested to be at the stadium by 06.00 pm the latest, said the organizers. There will be a special entertainment at the grounds before the start of play, they added.

Veteran Actor Joe Abeywickrama passed away at the age of 78 a short while ago. According to his family, he died upon being admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital after sustaining an injury during his exercises. The actor had fallen while doing his exercises and had been rushed to the Kalubowila Hospital but died upon arrival.
