SEPTEMBER 8 DECLARED A BLACK DAY – LAKTHILAKA


Shiral Lakthilaka Convenor of the The movement against the 18th amendment today stated that they have declared September 8 a Black Day. He added that a massive protest will be organized at the Borella Ayurveda Junction on the same day.



Lakthilaka also claimed that a fast led by opposition parliamentarians will be organized. The undemocratic constitutional amendment which will pave the way for a dictatorship should be defeated, he said.

According to his family, he died upon being admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital after sustaining an injury during his exercises. The actor had fallen while doing his exercises and had been rushed to the Kalubowila Hospital but died upon arrival.
